Back on their feet, the cautious PCs find the location of the local cult, deep in the savanna. They reach the fearsome Mountain of the Black Wind, where they find a "survivor" of the Carlyle Expedition: Hypatia Masters is now nothing more than an impregnated blob of flesh about to give birth to an unfathomable monstruosity. As they try to leave, the PCs are confronted by the infamous M'Weru and her guards, who manage to kill yet another pair of them.
