Les Masques de Nyarlathotep
The surviving investigators boarded the Bantu Wind to reach Australia without money or identification. The ship sails to India and then to Hong Kong. Its plan is to reach Shanghai and then head south down to Port Hedland.
Once in China, the group notices the presence of individuals who are of great interest to them. Brenda tries to obtain her official papers, a process that could take weeks. Instead, she asks to send her papers to Shanghai so that she can pay Captain Katanga as quickly as possible.
In Shanghai, Brenda receives her papers. Fearing an attack on the Bantu Wind, the investigators decide to pay Katanga and to board another ship illegally. Good move: the Bantu Wind is indeed sunk in Shanghai Bay while the group reached Sydney without a hitch.
Arriving in Sydney, Lise, Setsuna and Brenda visited Anthony Cowles and his daughter Ewa. At their home, they meet a certain David Dodge, Anthony Cowles' esteemed companion.
