Tortured for months, they manage to escape when John's last disciples carry out a frontal attack on the residence of Omar Shakti. Survivors discover that the Master of the Brotherhood intends to replace the Cult of the Bloody Language in the opening of the gate in Kenya, so they prepare to pursue him.
